Responsibilities

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to define, build, and roll out a scalable Generative AI agent platform for priority banking use cases.
  • Design and implement the agent runtime, orchestration, tool and function calling, prompt and workflow management, memory and state handling, and integration patterns.
  • Build platform evaluation, testing, guardrails, observability, and SLOs/SLAs to establish reliability and quality.
  • Monitor and optimize production performance, including model selection, prompt and agent tuning, retrieval quality, caching, throughput, resilience, and root-cause remediation.
  • Embed data handling, access management, encryption, auditability, model risk, and safe tool-use controls into the platform.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues, support delivery-team onboarding, create runbooks, and serve as an escalation point for incidents and production support.
  • Publish reference architectures, APIs/SDKs, templates, best practices, and developer guidance to accelerate consistent adoption.
  • Evaluate emerging GenAI and agent capabilities and translate them into platform enhancements with clear value, risk, and cost trade-offs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least three years of hands-on software engineering experience with strong Python, Java, or Golang skills.
  • Experience using at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Ability to deploy and operate production services; Docker and Kubernetes are preferred.
  • At least one year of experience building and shipping LLM or GenAI applications.
  • Knowledge of agentic workflows and tool/function calling; multi-agent systems experience is a plus.
  • Subject-matter expertise in at least one area such as performance monitoring, agent governance control, agent identity, harnesses, agent SDKs, or agent policies/guardrails.
  • Ability to articulate a strong vision for agent platforms and concrete best practices for creating skills, agents, or MCP tooling.
  • Practical RAG experience, including retrieval, chunking, embeddings, and vector databases such as Milvus, FAISS, Elastic, or Pinecone, is preferred.
  • Good verbal English communication and the ability to develop creative solutions while working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • AI-native mindset, including use of AI-driven approaches and coding assistants to improve productivity, quality, and engineering practices.
