Responsibilities
- Design and lead continuous integration and continuous deployment platforms and define adoption strategies and best practices.
- Optimize CI jobs for efficiency and cost, and automate application deployments using Kubernetes manifests, Helm charts, and Ansible playbooks and roles.
- Design monitoring, management, and deployment processes that provide visibility and support high availability.
- Partner with developers and cross-functional departments to deliver practical automation solutions.
- Integrate performance and test automation into CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot complex operational issues.
- Resolve issues related to product upgrades, installations, and configurations.
- Mentor, influence, and collaborate with developers and other team members.
- Identify internal efficiencies and serve as a technical thought leader.
- Participate in professional associations, outreach activities, or educational opportunities to maintain relevant technical skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 10 years of experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps release management tools, container-based service platforms, and configuration management tools.
- Experience administering Linux and Windows environments, using scripting tools, and configuring and administering enterprise web applications.
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment SaaS environments.
- Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders, employees, customers, and partners from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, organization, prioritization, and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Preferred experience designing and implementing CI/CD platforms, deployment automation solutions, monitoring and management tools, and high-availability deployment processes.
- Preferred experience troubleshooting complex operational issues and integrating performance and test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, influence, collaborate across teams, improve internal efficiencies, and stay current with industry practices.
