Responsibilities
- Assist with planning, design, and execution of SOA backend platforms and REST-based web services.
- Develop Java applications using Spark, Spring, and ORM frameworks.
- Design highly scalable components at both high and low levels.
- Track defects, triage bugs with business owners and users, and manage the backlog.
- Address non-functional requirements including scalability, high availability, performance, and security.
- Perform build, deployment, and DevOps-related work on AWS.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and technical subject-matter experts.
- Assist technical advisors in defining the project roadmap.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience with proficiency in Java/J2EE.
- Experience with SOA, multitenant platforms, and SaaS platforms is a plus.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services or a similar environment.
- Experience with a scripting language for automated builds and deployments is a plus.
