Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the trading platform and integrate additional bookmakers, exchanges, and other trading venues.
- Optimize platform performance, latency, correctness, availability, safety, and stability.
- Architect and implement production distributed systems with clean, evolvable service boundaries.
- Maintain historical data systems and support broader trading and research efforts.
- Contribute to technical standards, coding guidelines, build pipelines, observability, security, and wider platform technical excellence.
- Collaborate on low-level technical details and long-term strategic planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative or technical subject such as mathematics, electrical engineering, physics, or computer science.
- Deep experience building mission-critical distributed systems where throughput, correctness, and availability are hard requirements.
- Proven startup experience shipping products in small, fast-moving teams.
- Production experience delivering and maintaining systems in at least one systems language, including Go, C++, Rust, Java, or C#.
- Ability to reason about architectural trade-offs and design clean, evolvable service boundaries.
- Competence with AWS, Linux, and build pipelines.
- Fluent written and spoken English with strong technical collaboration skills.
- Trading, market-making, or exchange experience is a preferred qualification.
