Base Salary

$200k - $245k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build real-time trajectory generation and decision-making for autonomous flight.
  • Tackle joint optimization across safety, energy, time, and reliability.
  • Plan in uncertain environments with complex dynamics.
  • Design safety-critical software for obstacle avoidance and human interaction.
  • Extend the autonomy stack for new aircraft and payloads.
  • Validate safety metrics using large-scale simulations and real fleet data.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience building software for safety-critical systems.
  • Strong programming skills in Rust/C++/C for real-time, fault-tolerant code.
  • Experience with simulation at scale, SIL/HIL, and metrics-driven validation.
  • Proven track record of shipping production-grade autonomy in challenging conditions.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
