Responsibilities
- Lead solution and enterprise architecture for complex Azure initiatives across financial-services clients.
- Define architecture strategies and visions with senior client leaders and deliver Azure-based solutions with measurable business impact.
- Design integrations between Azure, other cloud providers, legacy on-premises systems, and third-party services.
- Design distributed, zero-trust, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Bridge senior stakeholders and delivery teams while guiding multidisciplinary technical teams.
- Contribute to commercial activity, including pre-sales, solution scoping, estimation, and bid responses.
- Mentor junior talent and contribute to technology thought leadership and delivery excellence.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading solution and enterprise architecture for complex, large-scale Microsoft Azure initiatives, supported by relevant Microsoft certifications.
- Experience advising senior leadership on cloud strategy, adoption, and development, with demonstrable client influence and business outcomes.
- Domain expertise in financial services or similarly complex regulated industries.
- Experience designing integrations across Azure estates, other cloud providers, legacy on-premises systems, and third-party services using API-led design, gateways, and BFF patterns.
- Experience designing distributed, zero-trust architectures using Azure services such as AKS, Azure Functions, and Service Bus for microservices and event-driven solutions.
- Experience leading cross-functional technical teams in agile delivery environments and modern engineering practices.
- Experience applying recognised architecture frameworks and methodologies such as TOGAF, Zachman, Domain-Driven Design, or NIST.
- Senior or managerial-level consulting experience is beneficial.
- Expert-level Azure credentials or architecture qualifications such as TOGAF are beneficial.
- Pre-sales experience, including solution scoping, commercial estimation, and formal bid responses, is beneficial.
- Experience designing enterprise-scale data and AI platforms with Azure-native services such as Synapse, Fabric, and Azure OpenAI Service is beneficial.
- Experience designing landing zones, secure networking topologies, group hierarchies, and identity-led security architectures with Active Directory and RBAC policies is beneficial.
- Experience launching greenfield cloud-native ventures, fintech solutions, or innovative platforms is beneficial.
