Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, develop, and maintain WLAN–Bluetooth–Zigbee coexistence systems.
- Perform pre-silicon design verification of coexistence interfaces using Tcl/Python scripting and simulation environments.
- Support silicon bring-up and debug cross-layer customer issues involving WLAN MAC and Bluetooth sniffer analysis.
- Understand and modify WLAN/Bluetooth switch-control logic and propose design and methodology improvements.
- Collaborate with WLAN MAC, PHY, firmware, Bluetooth stack, Bluetooth firmware, and hardware design teams.
- Create internal and external technical collateral and mentor or train team members as needed.
Requirements
- Development experience with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Zigbee technologies.
- Understanding of Bluetooth, WLAN, and Zigbee protocols, wireless communication systems, and embedded system design/programming.
- Hands-on Assembly and C programming experience.
- Strong C debugging skills using gdb, including crash analysis with stack traces.
- Familiarity with Wi-Fi debugging tools such as Wireshark and Bluetooth sniffer logs.
- Familiarity with IEEE 802.11 standards is desirable.
- Knowledge of Tcl, Python, or SystemC is a plus.
- Ability to work with large global cross-functional teams and communicate and present effectively.
