Responsibilities

  • Design, build, optimize, and manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines for microservices across build, test, security scanning, packaging, and deployment stages.
  • Manage Docker and Kubernetes deployments, clusters, autoscaling, service meshes, container registries, and deployment automation across Linux and Windows Server.
  • Provision cloud, on-premises, hybrid edge-cloud, and air-gapped environments using Terraform, Ansible, Bash, and Python automation.
  • Orchestrate software releases, versioning, release tagging, changelog generation, artifact storage, deployment runbooks, release notes, and rollback procedures.
  • Integrate SAST, DAST, container scanning, dependency vulnerability checks, SBOM generation, license compliance, secrets management, TLS, and PKI automation.
  • Deploy and manage centralized logging, metrics, distributed tracing, Kubernetes monitoring, dashboards, alerting, and on-call integrations.
  • Drive reliability engineering for high-availability platform SLA targets and guide development teams on DevOps, containerization, and pipeline design.
  • Collaborate with software architects, developers, QA, and product management on delivery planning and release readiness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; B.E., B.Tech, M.E., or M.Tech qualifications are listed.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of production Linux system administration experience with Ubuntu, RHEL, or CentOS.
  • At least 5 years of production Docker and Kubernetes container orchestration experience.
  • At least 5 years of CI/CD pipeline management and cloud platform deployment experience.
  • Proven experience delivering end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for microservices architectures.
  • Strong Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent tools.
  • Experience integrating security and compliance tooling into DevOps workflows.
  • Advanced Bash and Python scripting skills, with YAML/JSON and familiarity with Go for microservices platform contexts.
  • Preferred qualifications include AWS, Google, or Azure DevOps certifications; CKA/CKAD; Kubernetes operator and service mesh expertise; ArgoCD or Flux; SRE practices; time-series databases; Kafka or NATS; edge provisioning; and internal developer platform tooling.
