Responsibilities
- Own and deliver software stories end-to-end.
- Develop and maintain Java-based software solutions for a cloud cybersecurity SaaS product, with emphasis on Azure services.
- Build frontend functionality using React, Node.js, and/or TypeScript.
- Perform code reviews, debugging, unit testing, and technical troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, UX, and other cross-functional teams to refine requirements.
- Apply DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile practices while contributing to documentation and knowledge sharing.
- Analyze and optimize code for performance, scalability, and security.
- Mentor associate and junior-level engineers.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience writing Java code, including API development and database management.
- At least 5 years of frontend development experience with React, Node.js, and/or TypeScript.
- At least 2 years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, version control, CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, performance optimization, security best practices, and software scalability.
- Preferred experience with Linux shell scripting, the Azure data stack, Terraform, Helm, cybersecurity, and networks.
- Exposure to LLM inference, agents, MCP servers, and prompt engineering.
