Base Salary

$121k - $184k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build and extend an agentic harness for game logic generation, including tool orchestration, context management, and engine integration.
  • Integrate creator-focused systems into core game engine architecture to support generative creation workflows.
  • Implement sandboxed execution, permissioned tool access, content-safety and IP checks, and human review points.
  • Build evaluations and automated regression suites that assess whether generated games compile, load, maintain frame rate, and match intent.
  • Partner with engine developers, researchers, engineers, artists, and designers to translate prototypes into production-ready engine features.
  • Design extensible interfaces for rapid technology iteration while maintaining architectural integrity and developer usability.
  • Define how new technologies are productized within the engine and influence architecture and creator experience.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of software engineering experience with AAA game engines.
  • Expertise in C++.
  • Experience with Python.
  • Experience with agentic harnesses and workflows such as Claude Code, Codex, and Opencode.
  • Experience with context engineering, graph engineering, and long-running workflow orchestration.
  • Experience in one or more game engine development domains, such as gameplay, simulation, systems, content pipelines, or performance-critical systems.
