Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build extensible software for account-compliance use cases across products and geographies.
- Develop systems that trigger required verifications under applicable policies.
- Store verification decisions for reuse and reduce duplicative checks.
- Expose compliance capabilities through APIs for authorized users.
- Design custom distributed, data-centric systems that detect evolving patterns and illegal activity at Amazon scale.
- Deliver highly available, low-latency, high-quality systems.
Requirements
- Have 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- Have 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Have experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
