Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and build extensible software for account-compliance use cases across products and geographies.
  • Develop systems that trigger required verifications under applicable policies.
  • Store verification decisions for reuse and reduce duplicative checks.
  • Expose compliance capabilities through APIs for authorized users.
  • Design custom distributed, data-centric systems that detect evolving patterns and illegal activity at Amazon scale.
  • Deliver highly available, low-latency, high-quality systems.

Requirements

  • Have 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • Have 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Have experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
