Base Salary
$129k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Evaluate MHE software configurations and identify performance gaps, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies.
- Develop optimization strategies to improve throughput, uptime, and overall equipment effectiveness.
- Design software-based solutions for conveyors, sorters, AS/RS, AGVs, and other MHE assets.
- Create technical specifications and architecture documents.
- Lead software optimization projects from scoping through go-live.
- Manage integrations among MHE controls, ERP/WMS systems, and middleware.
- Oversee testing, commissioning, and validation of software changes in live environments.
- Partner with operations, engineering, and IT teams to define requirements and resolve pain points.
- Present solution proposals, ROI analyses, and business cases to leadership.
- Serve as technical liaison among vendors, integrators, and internal teams.
- Conduct training and knowledge-transfer sessions for customer staff.
- Provide 24/7 Tier 2/3 technical support for controls-related MHE issues.
- Contribute to technology roadmaps and capital planning for MHE investments.
- Handle flexible work assignments from management or operations.
Requirements
- Experience programming in at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.
- Experience in automation or complex MHE environments.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or engineering technology.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean processes.
- Expertise with Studio5000, Ignition, Codesys, and related controls software environments.
- Ability to analyze throughput data and system performance metrics and identify bottlenecks.
- Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Preferred: master's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or a master's degree or above in engineering, management, or technology.
- Preferred: systems controls design or programming experience.
- Preferred: systems trainer or training experience.
- Preferred: proven history of delivering continuous improvement across large networks.

- Base salary range is $129,200 to $174,800 annually, excluding sign-on payments and restricted stock units.
