Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance to a small team of developers.
Own technical direction and architecture decisions for custom software applications.
Develop and maintain custom .NET/C# software applications, primarily for desktop use.
Enhance existing systems, conduct code reviews, establish coding standards, and resolve bugs with hot fixes.
Collaborate with team members and business partners to define project requirements and enhancements.
Plan and prioritize team workload while balancing deadlines and technical quality.
Guide adoption of new development technologies and support Agile development practices.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of experience, including prior experience leading or mentoring developers.
Proficiency in .NET/C# with an emphasis on desktop development.
Experience leading projects from design through delivery.
Proficiency with Visual Studio, VS Code, Azure DevOps, and Git.
Experience with SQL Server or Oracle, stored procedures, database tuning, and performance optimization.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, leadership, team-building, and deadline-management skills.
Experience with Blazor, C++, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST, and Python is a plus.
Knowledge of Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, and ESRI ArcGIS is preferred.
