Responsibilities
- Build scalable, performant code using algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
- Architect resilient customer-facing web applications from scratch.
- Develop customer features, enhancements, automation, reusable modules, tooling, and internal self-service solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technology teams to define and implement product requirements.
- Improve logging, testing, instrumentation, metrics, monitoring, alerting, and operational practices.
- Conduct design and code reviews, establish development guidelines, and mentor junior engineers.
- Participate in scrum ceremonies, on-call rotations, production troubleshooting, and operational improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of strong Java programming experience.
- At least 3 years of programming experience with frontend technologies such as React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Experience monitoring production environments and troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving production issues.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or a similar tool.
- Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms.
- Experience designing, building, and deploying scalable, highly available systems.
- Ability to independently break down product requirements and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Preferred experience includes e-commerce, Python, modern development tools, version control systems, and bug or issue tracking tools.
