Base Salary
$114k - $192k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks, scripts, tools, and workflows using Python.
- Build automation for software testing, deployment, monitoring, and operational processes.
- Collaborate with developers, platform engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable automation capabilities.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps initiatives that improve software delivery and system reliability.
- Develop and troubleshoot solutions in Linux-based environments.
- Assist with containerized application deployments using Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift.
- Investigate automation failures and improve platform stability, scalability, and efficiency.
- Document technical designs, workflows, and automation best practices.
- Use AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices to improve productivity and software quality.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and continuously improve delivery processes and automation capabilities.
Requirements
- Experience in software automation, software engineering, or automation development.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Experience developing automation scripts, reusable frameworks, and engineering tools.
- Working knowledge of Linux operating systems, shell scripting, and troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of Kubernetes architecture, including pods, deployments, services, namespaces, and logging.
- Experience with Git source control and CI/CD pipeline concepts.
- Familiarity with software deployment automation and monitoring tools.
- Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in Agile and fast-paced engineering environments.
- Experience collaborating across development, testing, and operations teams.
- Exposure to cloud-native environments, modern DevOps methodologies, cloud platforms, and AI-powered development tools.
- Strong ownership, attention to quality and operational excellence, curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to learn new technologies.
