Base Salary
$96k - $179k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and supporting platform components in classified environments.
- Administer Containerd, Docker, or Podman container runtimes and troubleshoot Linux-based platform, application, and infrastructure issues.
- Support Kubernetes networking, workload scheduling, persistent storage, stateful workloads, data protection, and disaster recovery.
- Support CI/CD pipelines that deploy to Kubernetes environments using Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Implement and maintain monitoring and logging with Prometheus and Grafana.
- Perform system hardening, patching, lifecycle maintenance, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Principal-level candidates require a Master's degree and 3 years of experience, a Bachelor's degree and 5 years, an Associate's degree and 7 years, or a High School Diploma/GED and 9 years of relevant experience.
- Meet U.S. Government 8140 IAT Level II requirements, such as Security+ CE, and be able to obtain a Secret clearance at minimum.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Kubernetes, kubectl, Helm, core networking constructs, container runtimes, and Linux systems.
- Troubleshoot performance, resource allocation, scheduling, configuration, and workload issues in production environments.
- Have working knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Bash, or Python for provisioning, automation, or configuration management.
- Preferred qualifications include current Secret or higher clearance, CKA certification, Kubernetes production administration, Rancher, RKE2, K3s, Prometheus, Grafana, Longhorn, and PostgreSQL experience.
