Responsibilities
- Create high-level and low-level designs for complex distributed systems.
- Define architecture patterns, data flows, and integration points.
- Develop clean, efficient software in Java, Python, or similar languages.
- Implement microservices and APIs using best practices.
- Optimize systems for high availability and low latency.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and QA teams.
- Mentor junior engineers on design and coding standards.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding guidelines and design principles.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software development experience.
- Strong experience with high-level and low-level design for large-scale systems.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or C++.
- Expertise in data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases and caching mechanisms.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Preferred: experience with distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and messaging queues.
- Preferred: exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Preferred: strong communication and leadership skills.
