Responsibilities
- Define and drive mobile architecture strategy across native iOS and Android platforms.
- Develop, test, maintain, and optimize mobile applications using Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Kotlin, and Jetpack Compose.
- Set coding standards, make technical decisions, lead design discussions, and document architecture.
- Build reusable components and shared libraries and integrate APIs, push notifications, and third-party SDKs.
- Mentor mobile engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, and QA to plan and deliver high-quality releases.
- Own mobile CI/CD, automated testing, app-store deployments, release cycles, versioning, and store compliance.
- Monitor crash reporting, analytics, and production health and lead incident resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of professional mobile development experience, including 3+ years in a technical lead or senior leadership capacity.
- Deep expertise in native iOS development with Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit and native Android development with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Strong knowledge of MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture, RESTful APIs, JSON, asynchronous programming, and offline-first design.
- Experience leading end-to-end delivery of complex, large-scale mobile applications.
- Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions, and automated testing frameworks.
- Experience publishing and maintaining applications on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
- Understanding of mobile security, data privacy, and platform guidelines.
- Preferred: Kotlin Multiplatform, modular app architecture, large-scale codebases, Agile/Scrum environments, team leadership, and open-source contributions.
