Base Salary
$117k - $212k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality software solutions and services.
- Lead complex features and technical initiatives from design through production.
- Write maintainable, scalable code and participate in code reviews.
- Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders on customer-focused solutions.
- Contribute to technical design, architecture, implementation, and tradeoff discussions.
- Improve system performance, maintainability, security, operational excellence, development processes, tooling, and team efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, code reviews, and knowledge sharing to other engineers.
Requirements
- Five to seven years of relevant professional experience or a demonstrated equivalent level of expertise.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience delivering software through the full development lifecycle.
- Ability to independently solve complex technical problems and drive work to completion.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
- Experience mentoring and guiding engineers through technical leadership and knowledge sharing.
- Experience with full-stack development patterns and technologies including React, Postgres, NoSQL, infrastructure as code, containerized architectures, and serverless architectures.
- Strong understanding of software development principles, system design fundamentals, modern engineering practices, and architectural evaluation.
- Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and customer-focus skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn new technologies and evolving practices.
