Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, release, and maintain embedded software for varied hardware, operating systems, and vehicle architectures.
- Integrate in-vehicle software and develop customized solutions for customers.
- Conduct design and code reviews while maintaining code quality and architectural integrity.
- Investigate, debug, triage, and resolve high-priority customer issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to plan projects, identify technical risks, and deliver features on schedule.
- Lead requirements, design, testing, and reference-architecture documentation.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience developing production-quality software in C++.
- Deep proficiency with C++ in resource-constrained Linux or POSIX-based environments.
- Experience with Git, unit testing using Google Test, static analysis, and collaborative code reviews.
- Professional experience with C and Python is preferred.
- Familiarity with CAN, Ethernet, UDS, and SOME/IP automotive protocols is preferred.
- Experience with MQTT, gRPC, HTTPS, security protocols, OTA software updates, and telemetry is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Bazel, JIRA, and Confluence is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently, receive feedback, and mentor junior engineers.
