Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cloud-based solutions and enhance existing technologies and products.
- Write code, test solutions, automate processes, and deploy features to production.
- Monitor, analyze, and measure system health, availability, and latency using Google-native tooling.
- Participate in incident management and 24/7 on-call rotations to resolve production issues within SLAs and SLOs.
- Collaborate with the Software Engineering team and troubleshoot complex production problems.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with hands-on coding.
- Proficiency in at least one of C, C++, Golang, or Python.
- Thorough understanding of Linux or other Unix-like operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Understanding of container-based technologies, preferably Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience with cloud service APIs such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is desirable.
- Hands-on experience with block/file technologies is desirable.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Strong problem-solving, oral communication, and written communication skills.
