Responsibilities
- Build and optimize native Android and iOS features for a high-scale Product Details Page using Kotlin, Objective-C, and Swift.
- Build business features with React and cross-platform technologies.
- Design modular components supporting regional variations, A/B testing, and feature flags.
- Improve cold-start, rendering, and network performance while owning time-to-interact and crash-free-session KPIs.
- Implement reusable native frameworks that enable iteration without requiring a client release.
- Translate product requirements and designs into robust, maintainable implementations with cross-functional teams.
- Drive code quality through reviews, unit, integration, snapshot/UI testing, and observability.
- Guide the PDP platform’s modular architecture and server-driven UI strategy.
- Mentor engineers and share best practices.
Requirements
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of native mobile development experience on Android or iOS.
- At least 2 years of full-stack development experience across backend and frontend.
- Deep expertise in Android or iOS performance optimization, memory management, mobile development frameworks, and tools.
- Experience building and scaling high-traffic, consumer-facing applications.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with global companies, geo-specific feature delivery, social feeds, media-rich experiences, or interactive product surfaces.
- Preferred knowledge of Compose at scale, including theming, performance, and interoperability.
- Preferred experience with observability tooling such as Crashlytics, Firebase Performance, Logcat rules, and custom metrics.
