Responsibilities
- Design and implement firmware for UFS validation host products using C and C++.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout product development.
- Develop debug infrastructure and applications for collecting and analyzing diagnostic logs and event data.
- Review system and board-level specifications to ensure firmware, verification, and diagnostic requirements are integrated and achievable.
- Establish procedures to detect embedded-system design issues early in development.
- Lead issue resolution and product-stability improvements.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer, Electronics, Electrical, IT Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of embedded firmware development experience.
- Extensive C/C++ programming experience for RTOS-based embedded systems and programming expertise in Python.
- Significant storage-industry experience, including familiarity with NAND flash or other non-volatile storage technologies.
- Experience analyzing complex firmware and FPGA-based hardware issues.
- Advanced debugging proficiency using logic analyzers and protocol analyzers.
- Strong understanding of software design principles, real-time operating systems, and hardware-software integration.
- Comprehensive experience with UFS, eMMC, SD, and PCIe storage protocols.
- Creative problem-solving, innovation, teamwork, communication, and motivation.
- Practical knowledge of agile development methodologies and experience with self-managed teams across the product lifecycle.
