Base Salary

$149k - $246k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build and scale Java and Python backend services and APIs.
  • Own services end to end in a large-scale, highly available distributed cloud platform.
  • Automate CI/CD pipelines and apply DevOps practices including containers, infrastructure as code, and observability.
  • Integrate AI/ML capabilities into the platform.
  • Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and on-call rotations.

Requirements

  • A CS degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of software development experience with strong Java and Python skills.
  • At least 3 years of CI/CD experience with Jenkins, Spinnaker, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
  • At least 3 years of DevOps experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure; AI/ML integration; Maven or Gradle; Linux; and networking.
  • Preferred experience includes SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Kafka, Spark, Airflow, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB, and 24/7 highly available production environments.
