Base Salary
$149k - $246k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and scale Java and Python backend services and APIs.
- Own services end to end in a large-scale, highly available distributed cloud platform.
- Automate CI/CD pipelines and apply DevOps practices including containers, infrastructure as code, and observability.
- Integrate AI/ML capabilities into the platform.
- Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and on-call rotations.
Requirements
- A CS degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience with strong Java and Python skills.
- At least 3 years of CI/CD experience with Jenkins, Spinnaker, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- At least 3 years of DevOps experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure; AI/ML integration; Maven or Gradle; Linux; and networking.
- Preferred experience includes SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Kafka, Spark, Airflow, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB, and 24/7 highly available production environments.
