Base Salary
$150k - $325k/yr
Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements from operations teams into secure, large-scale distributed systems
- Build and scale infrastructure managing expert identity and access across Slack workspaces, enterprise groups, and HR systems
- Own projects end to end by defining the approach, building systems, and iterating as requirements evolve
- Design for security implications from the beginning rather than auditing after implementation
- Work across authentication, authorization, provisioning, and directory synchronization
Requirements
- Strong product engineering fundamentals and experience building and operating production systems
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems
- Security-minded system design and the ability to assess failure modes and consequences
- Comfort owning scope end to end with limited hand-holding
- Adaptability and intellectual flexibility in a unique operating environment
