Base Salary
$168k - $322k/yr
Responsibilities
- Reproduce, resolve, and root-cause sophisticated customer issues involving network and AI cluster technologies.
- Collaborate with R&D teams to develop bug fixes, workarounds, and solutions for critical customers.
- Build expertise in NVIDIA networking technologies including InfiniBand, NVLink, and Spectrum-X.
- Analyze network performance metrics and recommend tuning for high-performance, lossless networks.
- Develop tools for analyzing and root-causing field issues.
- Use AI tools for software development, log and trace analysis, and source-code debugging.
- Provide occasional customer support on weekends or holidays.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Electrical, or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of C programming experience in Linux and embedded systems.
- Proficiency in Python.
- 8+ years of software development experience in areas such as Linux NIC drivers, switch ASICs and SDKs, embedded network firmware, network equipment, network operating systems, virtual routers, SDN stacks, virtual switching, DPDK, or SR-IOV stacks.
- At least 3 years of direct support experience with end customers, partners, or integrators for network equipment and infrastructure.
- Strong expertise in system software including firmware, BIOS, kernels, drivers, and operating systems.
- Professional-level communication skills and the ability to adapt explanations to different technical audiences.
- Preferred experience includes AI infrastructure, HPC networking, switch and NIC ASICs and SDKs, InfiniBand, DPUs, SmartNICs, HPC performance tools, NCCL, MPI, DOCA, and CUDA.
