Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations about Obsidian solutions to prospective and existing customers.
- Partner with internal teams and prospects to assess security needs, define requirements, and align Obsidian solutions with customer pain points.
- Conduct solution proof-of-value engagements to achieve technical wins.
- Provide field reconnaissance, competitive intelligence, and customer insights to product management and engineering.
- Advise prospects technically throughout the sales cycle and advocate for customer needs.
- Mentor team members and help build the extended regional team across APAC.
- Represent Obsidian with partners and participate in security conferences and webinars.
- Travel as needed based on customer opportunities and role requirements.
Requirements
- Expert-level knowledge of cybersecurity, especially cloud and SaaS security concerns.
- Experience interacting with APIs, integrations, and middleware.
- Experience with cybersecurity solution stacks and evaluating complementary or competitive solutions.
- Strong communication, presentation, and technical skills for customer-facing engagements and thought-leadership presentations.
- Ability to assess market intelligence and reconnaissance findings.
- Understanding of routes to market and partnership representation.
- Experience in an offensive or defensive cybersecurity role and strong software engineering abilities.
- Willingness to travel depending on customer opportunities and role requirements.
