Responsibilities
- Lead timely delivery of releases, improvements, and transformation initiatives across development and QE activities.
- Design and architect solutions for credit risk reporting applications, including database structures and technical documentation.
- Develop microservices and data-processing jobs and conduct code reviews.
- Create unit test plans, automated test suites, test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Use JIRA, Confluence, and qTest for test case management, defect management, and test reporting.
- Collaborate with QA teams, stakeholders, business partners, and team members from project initiation through completion.
- Apply AI within testing and development processes to improve efficiency.
Requirements
- 5+ years of total experience in QE, development, or an equivalent technical role, including 2 years of lead experience.
- Proficiency in Java/J2EE, microservice architecture, and RESTful web service development.
- Hands-on experience with Hadoop/CDP big data environments and Spark/Hive for real-time and batch processing applications.
- Strong database application development, ETL, and database performance-tuning skills using technologies such as Hibernate and Spring.
- Expertise with Hive, MySQL, SQL Server, Sybase, Oracle, or similar databases.
- Knowledge of QE processes, testing life cycle, SDLC, defect management, application testing, development, and support.
- Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Finance & Technology, or a related degree/diploma background, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience with TDD, unit testing, JUnit, Unix/Linux, shell scripting, application configuration and deployment, test automation frameworks such as Robot Framework, Python, Bash, and PySpark/Spark SQL.
- Strong communication, negotiation, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
