Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end architecture, technical planning, development, deployment, and delivery of enterprise iOS and Android applications.
- Build iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine, CoreData, CoreAnimation, and relevant Apple frameworks.
- Develop and integrate Android applications using Kotlin, Jetpack, and supporting Android technologies.
- Integrate applications with IoT and medical devices through BLE, CoreBluetooth/GATT, and Wi-Fi, including pairing, telemetry, and firmware updates.
- Implement secure coding, authentication, authorization, encryption, secure storage, certificate pinning, privacy controls, and enterprise security policies.
- Optimize session management, caching, memory, battery, network usage, performance, and offline-first synchronization.
- Establish CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, signing, feature-flagged releases, and multi-environment distribution.
- Perform unit, integration, and UI testing; debug applications and address performance issues and defects.
- Own production reliability through observability, telemetry, incident response, documentation, and runbooks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, third-party partners, customers, and enterprise stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
- Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, promote best practices, and contribute reusable components and shared libraries.
- Manage version control, release readiness, deployment, change, and configuration activities.
- Participate in large-scale initiatives, requirements discussions, rapid prototyping, and technical documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
- 8–14 years of hands-on mobile development experience delivering enterprise-grade applications.
- Strong native iOS development experience with Swift and SwiftUI, including UIKit, Combine, Apple HIG, and the iOS SDK.
- Solid Android development experience with Kotlin and Jetpack; Java and Android experience are a plus.
- Experience with published mobile applications on the App Store or Android Market.
- Experience with Swift Package Manager, Gradle, Fastlane, Xcode, Git, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Firebase services including Crashlytics, Analytics, Remote Config, and FCM.
- Knowledge of secure storage, Keychain, Keystore, TLS, certificate pinning, encryption, and OWASP MASVS.
- Experience integrating IoT or medical devices using BLE, CoreBluetooth/GATT, and Wi-Fi.
- Experience with MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture, modularization, and dependency injection using Hilt, Dagger, or Koin.
- Experience with XCTest, XCUITest, Espresso, Compose, SwiftLint, and Detekt.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, collaboration, mentoring, leadership, and customer-value delivery skills.
- Ability to create architecture diagrams, maintain technical documentation and runbooks, prototype quickly, and work effectively across small and large teams.
