Base Salary
$158k - $174k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance credit card APIs and highly available, reliable backend services.
- Design and develop Spring Boot microservices with RESTful APIs across the full development, testing, and deployment lifecycle.
- Integrate APIs using GraphQL and Apollo Gateway.
- Implement real-time data streaming and analytics solutions using Kafka.
- Use Jenkins and Docker for deployment and automation activities.
- Deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes clusters using Rancher.
- Participate in development, deployment, production support, sprint planning, and issue resolution.
- Write complex SQL queries using joins and other functions for Postgres and DB2 databases.
- Coordinate with offshore teams and collaborate with product teams on new application capabilities.
- Guide strong coding practices and sound software design decisions within the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems.
- Five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience with microservice architecture, sprint planning, code development, enhancements, deployment, and production issue fixes.
- At least 24 months of experience designing and developing Spring Boot microservices with RESTful APIs.
- At least 24 months of experience with API integration, GraphQL, and Apollo Gateway integration.
- At least 24 months of experience implementing Kafka-based real-time data streaming and analytics and working with Jenkins, Docker, and CI/CD automation.
- At least 24 months of experience with the full software development lifecycle, agile methods, and scrum practices.
- At least 24 months of experience deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes clusters using Rancher.
- Experience may be gained concurrently.
