Base Salary
$200k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and build Crosby’s core frontend using React, Vite, and TanStack.
- Design and implement intuitive, high-performance interfaces for complex, data-intensive legal workflows.
- Rapidly prototype and iterate on user-facing features with product and the in-house legal team.
- Establish a maintainable frontend codebase, component library, and design system.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to design and implement APIs supporting a seamless user experience.
- Mentor and help recruit world-class engineers.
Requirements
- 6+ years of frontend engineering experience.
- Deep proficiency in TypeScript and modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or Svelte.
- Strong user empathy, attention to detail, and commitment to polished product quality.
- Ability to build and scale systems from the ground up and make foundational technical decisions.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across product, design, backend, and legal teams.
- Ownership of projects from ideation through execution and delivery.
- Experience with interfaces for complex AI-powered applications or agentic systems is ideal.
- Strong design sense and experience with modern design tools such as Figma is ideal.
- Prior early-stage startup experience is ideal.
- Familiarity with Python and the backend stack is ideal.
