Base Salary
$140k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Maintain and extend service provisioning foundations using Backstage.
- Build and scale agent golden paths for AI agents.
- Drive service mesh adoption and standardization across the fleet.
- Establish platform guardrails with scorecards and CI policies.
- Own core platform components including Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
- Work closely with product teams to co-design golden paths and measure adoption.
- Lead migrations and deprecations with clear communication and strategies.
- Measure developer experience and delivery metrics to prioritize the platform roadmap.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps, SRE, Software, or Platform Engineer.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Production experience with Backstage or similar developer portals.
- Depth in cloud technologies and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Proficient coding skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, Go, Java, or Python.
- A product mindset with empathy for developers and a focus on feedback.
- Experience enabling AI-assisted software delivery at scale.
