Responsibilities
- Design and deliver unified, governed, secure, AI-ready data estates and production-scale AI and agent solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Lead architecture design, proofs of concept, rapid prototypes, technical validation, production deployments, and customer adoption activities.
- Guide customers toward secure, resilient, AI-enabled, cost-optimized, and performance-optimized architectures.
- Identify and develop consumption, usage, expansion, partner, and technical pre-sales opportunities.
- Manage technical and business risks, blockers, deployment readiness, value realization, and customer satisfaction.
- Translate customer and partner problems into solutions aligned with Microsoft product and platform strategy.
- Engage technical and business decision-makers, including CIO, CISO, and other C-level stakeholders.
- Mentor colleagues, lead readiness and upskilling activities, contribute to virtual technical teams, and share technical thought leadership.
- Provide feedback to engineering and product teams and contribute to repeatable intellectual property, frameworks, methodologies, and scalable delivery models.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or a related field plus 4+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree plus 8+ years, a master's degree plus 6+ years, or equivalent experience in relevant cloud, architecture, consulting, infrastructure, or technology solution work.
- At least 4 years of customer-facing experience and 4 years working on technical projects are preferred.
- Candidates must have an active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.
- Candidates must satisfy Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements and pass the Microsoft Cloud background check.
- U.S. citizenship verification is required because the position supports government customers subject to citizenship-based restrictions.
- Technical cloud certification, such as Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, or security certification, is preferred.
