Responsibilities

Design, architect, and deliver production-grade agentic and LLM-powered systems in AWS.
Provide technical leadership to evolve AI solutions from experimentation into scalable, reliable, secure, observable, and maintainable products.
Collaborate with product, engineering, machine learning, data, analytics, and technical leadership teams on architecture and platform strategy.
Define engineering standards, reusable patterns, tools, and best practices for responsible and consistent AI system development.
Lead implementation and deployment activities spanning testing, monitoring, evaluation, guardrails, and operational support.
Communicate architectural decisions clearly, influence technical stakeholders, and mentor engineers.

Strong Staff-level software engineering background and a proven record of delivering production-grade systems.
Expertise in Python and at least one of Java, TypeScript, or .NET.
Experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems on AWS or similar cloud platforms.
Experience with secure development, data protection, compliance, and enterprise architecture principles.
Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into production using APIs such as OpenAI or Bedrock, prompt orchestration, tool usage, and interaction patterns.
Expertise in AI system design, including state management, memory strategies, evaluation, guardrails, observability, and performance optimization for LLM-powered systems.
Strong communication and influencing skills, including mentoring engineers and engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
