Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve complex production issues and customer-reported incidents.
- Handle user access management and data management requests, including data import, updates, and migrations.
- Troubleshoot applications using logs, SQL queries, system diagnostics, and observability tools.
- Coordinate with Development, QA, Product Management, Infrastructure, Network, and Customer Support teams to resolve issues.
- Track action items and ensure timely closure across cross-functional teams.
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend preventive and corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce incident volume and improve product stability.
- Troubleshoot REST API, file-based, message-based, and service integrations.
- Convert Excel data into SQL scripts and validate data across multiple systems and databases.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in product sustenance, application support, or a related technical role.
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries for data analysis, troubleshooting, data validation, and issue investigation.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting application errors using logs, SQL queries, and system diagnostics.
- Experience with an observability platform such as Grafana; familiarity with Kibana, Splunk, or similar tools is desirable.
- Understanding of enterprise application architecture, business workflows, software development lifecycle, release management, and incident management processes.
- Experience with integration troubleshooting across REST APIs, file-based, message-based, and service integrations.
- Working knowledge of programming languages and ESB or Message Queuing such as MSMQ is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, business communication, stakeholder management, ownership, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple teams, manage competing priorities, understand business processes and product functionality, and maintain a customer-focused approach.
