Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build high-performance applications capable of processing large volumes of data.
- Design and optimize APIs, data models, and backend architecture.
- Use Elasticsearch and MongoDB for search and data storage solutions.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and QA teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve application performance and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Own features from design through deployment and support.
Requirements
- Require 2–5 years of professional experience in backend software development.
- Require strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
- Require experience with Elasticsearch and MongoDB.
- Require experience building applications that handle high-scale or high-volume data.
- Require strong algorithmic thinking, problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Require the ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and take ownership of deliverables.
- Require experience managing features through the complete product lifecycle.
- Prefer experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Prefer knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Prefer experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Prefer familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
