Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement scalable ETF application systems using well-structured, testable, and efficient code.
- Drive the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise-scale full-stack applications using Java, Spring, Angular, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript.
- Develop client-facing APIs, distributed services, and inter-process communication frameworks for high-volume transactional workloads.
- Optimize data and integration layers using Oracle or SQL Server, Hazelcast, and Kafka.
- Establish test automation, quality assurance, and SDLC governance using JUnit, Mockito, TestContainers, and Playwright.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization using OAuth2, OIDC, and JWT while meeting financial-services data protection requirements.
- Advance cloud-native delivery through GitLab CI/CD, DevOps automation, Docker/Podman, and containerized deployment.
- Participate in code reviews, production releases, deployment validation, issue triage, and post-release support.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, operations, support, business stakeholders, external clients, and distributed technology teams.
- Evaluate and use AI and developer-productivity technologies, including LLMs, prompt engineering, MCP frameworks, Codex, Claude, and Windsurf.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–9 years of experience.
- Deep expertise in Core Java, including multithreading, memory optimization, concurrency management, and large-scale data processing.
- Experience with Java 17+, Spring 6/Spring Boot, Angular, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience building client-facing APIs, distributed services, inter-process communication frameworks, and high-volume transactional systems.
- Experience with Oracle or SQL Server, distributed caching such as Hazelcast, and event-driven messaging platforms such as Kafka.
- Experience with test automation and quality frameworks including JUnit, Mockito, TestContainers, and Playwright.
- Experience with OAuth2, OIDC, JWT-based authentication and authorization, secure coding, and financial-services data protection.
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD, DevOps automation, containerized deployment, and Docker/Podman.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Experience supporting ETFs, capital markets, or broader financial-services platforms preferred.
