Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python backend services and REST APIs.
- Build systems that ingest, process, and transform large datasets and vulnerability intelligence data.
- Work with Microsoft Azure, containerized workloads, batch processing, PostgreSQL, and event-driven architectures.
- Contribute to cloud-native architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Use Databricks and modern data-processing approaches.
- Collaborate on system design, data modeling, platform improvements, code reviews, automated testing, and technical analysis.
- Mentor less experienced developers and use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of commercial Python development experience with a strong focus on backend engineering.
- Strong experience building backend applications and REST APIs.
- Solid SQL knowledge and experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience building data-intensive applications, data pipelines, or systems that process large datasets.
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, testing, and clean-code principles.
- Experience with Databricks or other modern data platforms is advantageous.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures, asynchronous processing, and distributed systems.
- Experience with Azure services such as Azure Container Apps or Batch Processing, Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform, Azure DevOps, deployment automation, and AI-assisted software development tools is advantageous.
