Responsibilities
- Lead complex technology initiatives with broad, companywide impact.
- Design, code, test, debug, document, review, and analyze complex technology solutions.
- Develop engineering standards and companywide best practices for large-scale technology solutions.
- Make technical decisions, influence technology teams, and lead new initiatives.
- Collaborate with technical experts, senior technology teams, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues.
- Lead projects or teams and provide peer mentoring, code reviews, and multi-domain support coordination.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- 4+ years of shared-services knowledge with microservices domain architecture on large platforms.
- 4+ years of experience with Java Spring Boot services and REST-oriented architecture.
- 2+ years of MongoDB experience.
- 1+ years of experience with cloud-based platforms such as OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- Preferred qualifications include payments-domain knowledge, ISO 20022 standards, CI/CD, Karate, Postman, Kafka, file-based processing, Apigee, YugabyteDB, and experience leading multi-domain support teams.
- Strong communication, mentoring, code-reviewing, analytical, design, coordination, and self-direction skills are preferred.
