Base Salary
$155k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and operate cloud-native platforms using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Design, build, deploy, and debug production services end to end.
- Implement modular architecture and maintain code quality.
- Enhance deployment and operational reliability through CI/CD template maintenance.
- Ensure security and reliability in engineering practices.
- Manage artifacts and dependencies responsibly.
- Contribute to AI-enabled systems and workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Demonstrate ownership of services from design to production.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with ownership of platform or backend systems.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native services in production.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Proficiency in Python for backend service development.
- Experience with modern Python tooling such as uv, ruff, and ty.
- Security-conscious engineering experience.
- Familiarity with LLM APIs like OpenAI or Azure OpenAI.
- Knowledge of agentic AI frameworks is a plus.
- Experience with artifact registry management is a plus.
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
