Base Salary
$180k - $233k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive engineering projects to completion with a focus on business impact, prioritization, and urgency.
- Rapidly execute new backend ideas and serve as a resource to other teams and engineers.
- Solve difficult technical problems across the stack when necessary.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and other cross-functional teams to plan and execute engineering projects.
- Work on large projects and lead small teams of engineers.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
- Fluency in at least one major programming language and the ability to switch between multiple languages.
- Experience building software on relational databases such as Postgres or MySQL.
- Ability to write high-quality, maintainable, and testable code.
- Experience leveraging AI coding agents to deliver production software.
- Experience supporting and maintaining production software platforms.
- Strong curiosity, data-driven problem solving, and ability to evaluate technical tradeoffs.
