Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and unit test switch and router products.
- Own feature design, coding, unit testing, support feature testing, and support regression testing.
- Help create automation test scripts and contribute to product documentation.
- Support ongoing product maintenance and improvement.
- Collaborate within an agile team on networking and platform software.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience building and supporting resilient network systems and platform services.
- Strong understanding of networking and distributed computing concepts, including Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols.
- Experience with BGP, ISIS, OSPF, ARP, ND, IPv6, RIB, and BFD.
- Strong C/C++ programming skills, particularly for L2/L3 Ethernet switches or routers.
- Knowledge of routing principles, client-server architecture, data communication, or telecommunications.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or an equivalent field.
- Familiarity with automation testing and agile/scrum methodologies is a plus.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
