Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and unit test switch and router products.
  • Own feature design, coding, unit testing, support feature testing, and support regression testing.
  • Help create automation test scripts and contribute to product documentation.
  • Support ongoing product maintenance and improvement.
  • Collaborate within an agile team on networking and platform software.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience building and supporting resilient network systems and platform services.
  • Strong understanding of networking and distributed computing concepts, including Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols.
  • Experience with BGP, ISIS, OSPF, ARP, ND, IPv6, RIB, and BFD.
  • Strong C/C++ programming skills, particularly for L2/L3 Ethernet switches or routers.
  • Knowledge of routing principles, client-server architecture, data communication, or telecommunications.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or an equivalent field.
  • Familiarity with automation testing and agile/scrum methodologies is a plus.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
