Responsibilities

  • Design and implement enterprise integrations connecting commercial platforms, SaaS applications, AWS, and on-premises systems.
  • Own integration development end to end, including coding, unit testing, UAT support, production deployment, and documentation.
  • Build and manage Boomi processes, APIs, connectors, data mappings, scheduled jobs, and subprocess dependencies.
  • Troubleshoot API requests, Salesforce connectors and listeners, database connectors, web service connectors, scripts, performance issues, and process logs.
  • Create RESTful APIs and monitor API performance using analytics tools.
  • Analyze logs and resolve P1 and P2 incidents in collaboration with stakeholders across teams and time zones.
  • Gather requirements, conduct knowledge-transfer sessions, and create integration flow documentation.
  • Mentor junior software engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in integration development.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with the Boomi platform, including API development, connectors, data mapping, error handling, exception handling, and process design.
  • Proficiency with integration patterns and data exchange formats including REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML.
  • Experience developing stable, reliable, and supportable high-volume, high-velocity enterprise integrations.
  • Ability to lead routine projects with manageable risks and resource requirements.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Experience or familiarity with DataDog, Postman, Azure DevOps, and Boomi environments and configurations, preferably Boomi on AWS.
  • Strong coding, troubleshooting, prioritization, attention-to-detail, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
