Base Salary
$163k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and build software infrastructure for protein design and engineering pipelines.
- Own the engineering side of LSAI's 'Lab-in-the-Loop' lifecycle.
- Onboard new tools and methods into production-ready systems.
- Partner cross-functionally with ML researchers and scientists.
- Set engineering standards for LSAI software and mentor senior engineers.
- Diagnose and resolve reliability and performance bottlenecks in production pipelines.
Requirements
- Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience in Python or comparable languages.
- Proven experience designing and operating scalable production systems.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals including system design and CI/CD.
- Experience with scientific or ML-adjacent infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with containerization and cloud infrastructure.
- Track record of leading technical direction and collaborating with research scientists.
