Base Salary
$200k - $400k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and evolution of Giga’s native iOS SDKs.
- Define technical direction and architectural tradeoffs for embedding voice and chat agents into customer apps.
- Own integrations with iOS capabilities including voice routing, background execution, notifications, and app extensions.
- Deliver polished mobile UI with smooth animations, gesture handling, accessibility, responsive performance, and resilient offline behavior.
- Write code, own iOS infrastructure, and ship production features.
- Collaborate with design and the web frontend team to identify and build cohesive mobile experiences.
Requirements
- 6+ years of native iOS and Swift engineering experience.
- Experience shipping complex applications or SDKs at scale.
- Strong SDK and API design skills with empathy for external developers.
- Ability to turn vague product requirements into fluid, responsive mobile experiences with limited guidance.
- Deep UX sensitivity across motion, gesture ergonomics, and accessibility.
- Deep understanding of iOS capabilities including voice routing, background execution, and app extensions.
- Willingness to remain hands-on and ship production code.
- Comfort occasionally working across the stack with technologies such as GraphQL and Go.
