Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable and resilient systems using Java or Python.
- Execute software design, development, technical troubleshooting, and production code maintenance.
- Create architecture and design artifacts while ensuring software meets design constraints.
- Analyze, synthesize, and visualize large datasets to improve applications and systems.
- Identify data patterns and hidden problems to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Participate in software engineering communities of practice and events exploring emerging technologies.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, or documentation, and validate their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Support inclusive, respectful, and collaborative team culture.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, React, and REST Services.
- Familiarity with Jenkins, Kubernetes, Git, Jira, and related development tools.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile software development practices.
- Understanding of application resiliency, security, and technical processes within a technical discipline.
- Proficiency with AI tools and hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools.
- Ability to evaluate and refine AI-generated outputs and follow responsible AI practices for data sensitivity, secure handling, resiliency, and security.
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and exposure to AWS.
- Familiarity with MongoDB.
