Base Salary
$90k - $148k/yr
Responsibilities
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including elaboration, refinement, estimation sessions, and daily standups.
- Develop, modify, test, implement, and support mainframe applications with delivery teammates and IT peers.
- Work from high-level requirements through detailed specifications, prototyping, software deployment, testing, and administration.
- Provide application functional knowledge, support documentation, system monitoring, and production support for internal business units.
- Maintain applications so they remain current, stable, compliant, and aligned with enterprise standards.
- Troubleshoot and support existing applications and participate in application upgrades and enhancements.
- Provide off-hours and weekend on-call support as necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum five years of experience with COBOL, z/OS, JCL, TSO, and CICS.
- Experience developing Hogan mainframe banking systems.
- Experience with sort utility software such as DFSORT or SYNCSORT.
- Experience with scheduling, File Manager, file transfer, and debugging software.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, collaboration, communication, multitasking, adaptability, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Prior experience supporting distributed software applications, working in an Agile environment, or working in banking and financial services is desired.
