Base Salary
$167k - $204k/yr
Responsibilities
- Improve and maintain the reliability of frontend build tooling, testing infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Design and build generative AI tooling that accelerates frontend code creation, testing, debugging, and deployment.
- Reduce engineering toil and friction while establishing scalable developer productivity practices across frontend teams.
- Research and champion technologies that improve frontend developer experience.
- Support the implementation roadmap for core platform infrastructure and address technical debt with scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve technical challenges and build technical consensus.
- Participate in an on-call rotation when required to support production systems and service reliability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in frontend or full-stack development, specializing in developer tooling, platform engineering, or infrastructure.
- Deep expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
- Experience with testing frameworks including Jest, Vitest, Playwright, and visual regression testing.
- Experience building or maintaining scalable CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
- Experience integrating Rust-based tools into existing JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience implementing team-wide AI tools to accelerate development, debugging, and frontend scalability.
- Familiarity with Docker and observability or monitoring tools such as Datadog.
- Familiarity with AI code-generation tools such as Claude Code.
- Ability to work through ambiguity, communicate with diverse stakeholders, drive technical consensus, and manage priorities in complex codebases.
