Responsibilities
- Prototype thin vertical slices across React/Next.js UI, Node.js APIs, and storage/search integrations.
- Collaborate with PM & Design in time-boxed discovery cycles to iterate quickly and validate assumptions.
- Align prototypes with shared primitives and standards, including feature flags and auditability.
- Integrate workflows with streaming/orchestration technologies like Kafka/Temporal.
- Ship an adoption package that includes documentation, interfaces, and an integration backlog.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience building production web applications and APIs in TypeScript (React/Next.js + Node).
- Strong product-engineering instincts to define prototype scope from ambiguity.
- Practical API and data-layer skills, particularly with PostgreSQL.
- Comfortable working in Kubernetes/GitOps environments and maintaining engineering hygiene.
- Security-conscious approach to access control, privacy, and audit expectations.
- Eligible to work in Germany; EU/NATO citizenship preferred for export-controlled projects.
