Responsibilities
- Operate as an AI subject matter expert with a focus on platforms.
- Lead technical discovery, architecture design, demos, and end-to-end evaluations.
- Drive AI-focused solution strategy and competitive positioning.
- Own technical strategy and influence Customer Success Plans for assigned accounts.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing.
- Provide advanced technical guidance during the pre-sales cycle.
- Translate customer feedback into product requirements and improvements.
- Create and share reusable technical assets for scaling impact.
- Mentor other Solutions Architects and contribute to global initiatives.
Requirements
- Expertise in GitLab’s product and customer personas.
- Deep hands-on experience with AI and AI-powered solutions.
- Experience in technical pre-sales or software consulting roles.
- Practical background in modern software development and DevSecOps practices.
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and architectures.
- Ability to design and explain technical architectures across the software lifecycle.
- Skill in leading technical evaluations and workshops with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Openness to learning and growth, with transferable experience encouraged.
