Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery, architecture design, demonstrations, and end-to-end POC/POV evaluations for GitLab’s AI-powered DevSecOps platform.
- Drive AI-focused solution strategy, competitive positioning, and business value justification as the team’s AI subject matter expert.
- Own technical strategy and influence Customer Success Plans for strategic accounts, acting as the technical CTO for transformation initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance during pre-sales, tenders, audits, workshops, integrations, and implementation challenges.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing on account and territory strategies.
- Translate customer feedback into product requirements, documentation improvements, and roadmap input.
- Create reusable reference architectures, working examples, best-practice guides, and internal enablement content.
- Mentor Solutions Architects and contribute to global initiatives, standards participation, ecosystem relationships, and external thought leadership.
Requirements
- Deep hands-on expertise with AI, including designing or implementing AI-powered solutions or advising customers and internal teams on AI adoption.
- Experience in technical pre-sales, software consulting, or a similar role connecting complex technology to business outcomes.
- Practical experience with modern software development or operations, including CI/CD, DevSecOps practices, and related tooling.
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and secure scalable application delivery.
- Ability to design and explain architectures spanning multiple teams and software lifecycle phases.
- Experience leading technical evaluations, proofs of value, solution design sessions, or workshops with technical and executive stakeholders.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, stakeholder management, customer advocacy, and trusted-advisor skills.
- Transferable experience in adjacent domains such as security, data, or cloud architecture is welcomed.
- Must be based in Singapore or Australia and have full working rights in one of those countries.
